So you’ve taken the plunge and registered for your baby shower on Amazon.
Congratulations! You are now officially a member of the Amazon Mom club and are entitled to all the perks that come with it (like 30% off select items and free 2-day shipping on orders over $35).
But now you’re wondering, when do baby registry items ship?
The answer, my friend, is not as simple as you might hope.
You see, when you add an item to your registry, the estimated ship date is determined by a few factors.
First, Amazon looks at the availability of the item.
If it’s in stock, great! Your item will ship within 2 days.
But if it’s not in stock, they’ll have to order it from the manufacturer which can take a bit longer.
Another factor that affects shipping time is the size and weight of the item.
Larger items obviously take longer to ship than smaller ones.
And finally, if you’re requesting rush delivery, that will also affect when your items will arrive.
Now that we’ve got all that out of the way, let’s talk about how you can find out when your registry items will ship.
The easiest way is to check the “estimated arrival date” on the product page before you add it to your registry (look for it just above the “add to cart” button).
If you’ve already added an item to your registry and want to check on its status, there are a few ways to do that.
First, you can go to Your Registries and select “View Your Registry.”
From there, find the item you’re interested in and click on “See Estimated Arrival Dates.”
Or, if you’re already looking at an individual item on your registry, just scroll down until you see “Estimated Arrival Date.”
So there you have it! Everything you need to know about when Amazon baby registry items ship.
